How to flash?

Requirements

  • SP Flash Tool: Download and extract the latest version.
  • Stock ROM: Ensure you have the correct stock firmware for your device.
  • MediaTek USB Drivers: Install these on your PC.
  • USB Cable: For connecting your device to the PC.

Steps to Flash

  1. Download and Extract SP Flash Tool:
    • Download the SP Flash Tool from a reliable source and extract the contents to a folder on your computer.
  2. Download Stock ROM:
    • Obtain the stock ROM for your specific device model and extract it. Locate the scatter file within this folder.
  3. Power Off Your Device:
    • Turn off your Android device. If it has a removable battery, take it out.
  4. Run SP Flash Tool:
    • Navigate to the extracted SP Flash Tool folder and run Flash_tool.exe as an administrator.
  5. Load Scatter File:
    • In SP Flash Tool, click on the “Download” tab.
    • Click on “Scatter-loading” and select the scatter file from the stock ROM folder.
  6. Prepare for Flashing:
    • Before proceeding, ensure you have set up any necessary authentication bypass methods (this may vary based on your device and specific requirements).
  7. Start Flashing Process:
    • Click on the “Download” button in the SP Flash Tool to initiate the flashing process.
  8. Connect Your Device:
    • Connect your powered-off device to the PC using a USB cable while holding either the Volume Up or Volume Down button. This helps the tool recognize your device.
  9. Monitor the Flashing Process:
    • The flashing process will begin, indicated by a progress bar in the SP Flash Tool. Wait until you see a green circle with “Download OK,” indicating successful flashing.
  10. Finish Up:
    • Once completed, disconnect your device from the PC and close the SP Flash Tool.
    • If applicable, reinsert the battery into your device if it was removed.
  11. Reboot Your Device:
    • Power on your device. It should boot into the newly flashed firmware.
