How to flash?
Step 1: Boot into EDL Mode
- Power off your Redmi A4 5G.
- Use a specialized tool or method (like a test point or a deep flash cable) to boot your device into EDL mode.
Step 2: Connect to PC
- Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable.
Step 3: Launch the MiFlash Tool
- Open the MiFlash tool on your PC.
Step 4: Load Fastboot ROM
- Click on the

button in MiFlash and navigate to the folder containing the extracted Fastboot ROM.
Step 5: Choose Flashing Option
- Select one of the following options:
- Clean All: Wipes all data.
- Save User Data: Keeps user data intact.
- Clean All and Lock: Wipes data and locks the bootloader.
Step 6: Start the Flashing Process
- Click on the
Flash
button in MiFlash. The flashing process will begin.
Step 8: Wait for Completion
- Wait for the process to complete. A success message will appear once done.
Step 9: Reboot Your Device
- Once flashing is complete, your device should automatically reboot. If not, you can manually reboot it by disconnecting and reconnecting the device.
Note: In the the future, I will update the EDL test point; now you need to boot the device in EDL mode and follow the official method.
