How to flash?

How To Flash Redmi 5A Mobile

Download and Extract the Firmware File
- Download the correct firmware file for your Xiaomi device.
- Extract the downloaded file to a location on your computer.
Copy File Folder to Desktop
- After extracting the file, copy the entire folder to your desktop for easy access.
Run Xiaomi Flash Tool
- Open the Xiaomi Flash Tool on your computer.
Select File Location in the Tool
- In the Xiaomi Flash Tool, browse and select the folder where you copied the firmware files.
Tick on Clean All
- In the tool, make sure to tick the option “Clean All” to ensure a fresh installation without any leftover data.
Connect Your Device in EDL Mode
- Put your Xiaomi device in EDL (Emergency Download Mode).
- To do this, power off your device and connect it to your PC while holding the appropriate button combination for EDL mode (usually volume down and power buttons, depending on the model).
Click on Refresh
- In the Xiaomi Flash Tool, click on the “Refresh” button.
- This will detect and list your connected phone in the tool.
Click on Flash
- Once your device is listed, click on the “Flash” button to start the flashing process.
Wait for Flash Completion
- The flashing process will take some time. Wait until the tool shows a “Flash complete” message.
