How to flash?
How to Flash VIVO Y12 (PD1901BF) MediaTek Phone Using SP Flash Tool
- Download and Install MediaTek Drivers
- If you haven’t already installed MediaTek drivers on your PC, download and install them.
- (Skip this step if the drivers are already installed.)
- Download SP Flash Tool and Flash File
- Download both the SP Flash Tool and the specific Flash File (Firmware) for your phone model.
- Extract both the SP Flash Tool and the firmware file into separate folders.
- Run SP Flash Tool
- Navigate to the folder where you extracted the SP Flash Tool and launch the Flash_tool.exe file.
- Select the Scatter File
- In the SP Flash Tool, click on the “Choose” or “Scatter-loading” button.
- Browse to the folder where the firmware file is located, and select the scatter file (usually a .txt file).
- Click the Download Button
- Once the scatter file is loaded, click the “Download” button in the SP Flash Tool to prepare for flashing.
- Power Off and Connect Your Phone
- Power off your phone completely.
- Connect your phone to the PC using a USB cable. SP Flash Tool will detect the phone and begin the flashing process automatically.
- Wait for Flash to Complete
- The flashing process will take a few minutes.
- Once it’s done, you will see a green tick or “Download OK” message on the screen.
- All Done!
- After the flashing is complete, disconnect your phone and power it on.
