How to flash?
How to Flash Redmi 7A
Preparation:
- Download Xiaomi 7A Flash File: Ensure you have the correct flash file for your Redmi 7A model.
- Download & Install MI Flash Tool: Make sure the MI Flash Tool is installed on your PC.
- Place the Flash File on Desktop: Keep the flash file folder easily accessible, preferably on your desktop.
Flashing Process:
- Connect Phone:
- Connect your Redmi 7A to the PC using a USB cable.
- Unplug the battery from the phone.
- Short Test Point:
- Short the Test Point on the motherboard.
- While holding the Test Point shorted, reconnect the battery.
- Short the Test Point on the motherboard.
- Verify Connection:
- Open Device Manager on your PC.
- Check for the Qualcomm HS USB QLoader 9008 port. This indicates your phone is correctly in EDL (Emergency Download Mode).
- Run MI Flash Tool:
- Open the MI Flash Tool on your PC.
- Assign Folder Path:
- In the MI Flash Tool, assign the path to the flash file folder located on your desktop.
- Refresh and Flash:
- Click on the ‘Refresh’ button in MI Flash Tool to detect the connected device.
- Once the device is detected, click on the ‘Flash’ button to start the flashing process.
Final Steps:
- Wait for Flashing to Complete:
- The flashing process will take some time. Wait until it is completed.
- Reboot Your Device:
- Once the flashing process is finished, reboot your device.
- Initial Setup:
- Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Redmi 7A.
